ArcelorMittal France peut détenir des participations stratégiques à l'étranger qui constituent des débouchés commerciaux ou des sources d'approvisionnement essentiels. La nationalisation ne doit pas conduire à la perte de ces actifs internationaux qui participent à la viabilité économique de l'entreprise. Cette disposition protège les intérêts industriels français à l'échelle mondiale.
Le texte exact de l'amendement
Après l’alinéa 1, insérer l’alinéa suivant :
« La nationalisation ne peut porter atteinte aux participations qu’ArcelorMittal France détient dans des sociétés situées hors du territoire national. Le Gouvernement négocie avec le groupe ArcelorMittal le maintien de ces participations au profit de l’État français. »
